Q What is tasteroom?

A Tasteroom is a well maintained wine database that incorporates many aspects of social networking, inventory control, wine ranking/reviewing, and statistical analysis of wine by our members. Tasteroom was developed by Liquid Endeavors™ LLC. Visit the “About Us” section to learn more.

Q Who is tasteroom for?

A Tasteroom is for everyone who enjoy wine.

Q How much does a tasteroom membership cost?

A Basic membership is absolutely free! It only takes seconds to register to become a member. The free membership has few limitations and is feature rich. It is our goal and duty to not set limits that interfere with the foundation of features which we provide.
We offer a Premium Membership for $14.99 per year with two different payment methods available.
You can choose a reoccurring “Subscription” (you must have a Paypal account if you choose this option) or you can use the “Buy Now” button (You do not need a Paypal account for this option). The Premium Membership includes everything offered in our Basic Membership plus unlimited wine racks in the Virtual Wine Rack™ section. Premium Members will also enjoy all future features yet to be implemented included in the price. More payment options are Coming Soon!
We work diligently to assure that both types of memberships (Basic and Premium) are on equal footing at their base functionality. • Take and track physical inventory.
• Global and private statistical reporting.
• Ability to add wines to predefined “liked” or “disliked” wine lists.
• Wine list printing that conserves ink in a printer friendly format
• Rating ability with comments on each wine.
• Sorting of lists In ascending and descending order for prices, ratings and vintage. Alphabetical and reverse alphabetical sorting of vineyards or labels.
• Search your “My Tasteroom Wine list”

Virtual Wine Rack™ Features: (The Premium Membership offers unlimited wine racks)

• Create and personalize your Virtual Wine Rack of varying capacities (25, 50, 75, 100).
• Graphically move and organize wines inside your Virtual Wine Rack.
• Graphically sort wines by type (Red, White, Dessert, Pink, Sparkling or Champagne) in your Virtual Wine rack.
• Select customized labels and bottles that are viewable on each wine in your virtual wine rack.
• View inventory quantities and price.
• View and create comments.
• Add a jpg image to customized labels.
• Rack Searching.

My Profile Features:

• A complete Social Networking experience focused on your needs as a wine enthusiast.
• Ability to add and remove friends that can view your profile.
• Store multiple photo albums.
• Share contact info with friends such as links to your Facebook, twitter and Myspace and email.
• Write on each others Tasteroom Labels. This is the prefect way to say ask quick questions or simply say hi to friends.
• View you friends current Inventory, liked or disliked wine lists.

Q How do I suggest a wine to be added to the tasteroom wine database?

A Go to our Suggestion page, fill out the form and click the “continue” button and click save in the next window. This link can also be found through out the website.

Q Do you have a friend referral program?

A Coming soon! We have some plans for a friend referral program in action

Q How do I gift a Membership?

A Coming soon! We plan to make this available in the near future.

Q Is tasteroom considered a Social Networking Website?

A Yes, in part. Tasteroom gives you the ability to communicate and share ideas with friends, acquaintances and fellow wine enthusiasts.

Q Is wine collecting a fun hobby?

A Yes, most definitely but it's even more fun with Tasteroom!

Q Why does tasteroom offer products from Amazon.com and have ad's on the site?

A These are the ways that we give our members to support the ongoing development and operation costs of tasteroom.com. By purchasing products via tasetoom.com you are enabling us to build more content that will be beneficial to the greater tasteroom community. We operate under an ad supported business model so please visit our affiliates when ever you can.

Q I have great idea's too. How do I submit suggestions for the Tasteroom website?

A There is a form available in the “Contact Us” section. Feel free to let us know what you think (we love feedback) and share ideas that you may have. We cannot guarantee implementation of your suggestions but we promise to read all of them.

Q I own/operate a vineyard/winery, tasting room, wine bar or restaurant. What can Tasteroom do for me?
