About Us

The idea for tasteroom™ was born on a beautiful mild spring day while a couple of friends discussed wine, technology and life in general. The sun shone through the trees and the birds chirped in the distance while they were enjoying a Cabernet Sauvignon on a winery picnic bench. On that day these friends envisioned a place where people could share, organize and communicate openly about their experiences with wine in a way that has not been done before. The idea soon grew into a complete organizational methodology as they asked themselves questions like these.

• Where do we start?
• How do I remember all of these labels?
• Where do I keep track of these wines and possibly find something new quickly?
• I wonder if any of my friends have tried wines from this Vineyard?
• I have an actual cellar or collection but I never know what my current stock level is. Where do I go and what do I do?
• I want to manage and keep track of the wines I like on my web enabled smart phone. What site would work best for me?

The tasteroom website is a place where you can search our ever growing database, choose a wine and add them to “My Tasteroom”. Our staff personally verifies user submitted wines. Once you have registered you will have access to the “My Tasteroom” area where you will be able to “Search Wines” use the “My Profile” section and access our member forums. Your “My Tasteroom” area will give you the ability to track specific labels or vineyards, organize them in graphical Virtual Wine Racks™ and keep a log of what you have come across in your own wine tasting adventures. You will also have the chance to critique them and if you wish, share your opinions with other users. You will notice that our slogan says “wine. web. people.”. We whole heartily believe that with these three ingredients you will have a meaningful experience in wine collecting and tasting in a social atmosphere that will allow you to learn from others experiences.

Our mission is to empower you as a consumer and enthusiast with an adequate knowledge base to get you started on the great pastime of wine collecting and tasting while at the same time creating a fun experience. The tasteroom website will give you the tools you need to manage your own collection, start a wish list or simply track wines that you have either enjoyed or not enjoyed so much.

Company Biography

Liquid Endeavors LLC was founded by Benjamin P. Arthur, Raymond E. Bailey and Curtis J. Wittner. Originally friends and co-workers employed by a Software company, they quickly identified talents that each possessed and decided to parley those abilities into a product that is the culmination of their shared interest of wine.
